In general, I like learning about other languages and seeing the difference between them and my native language. I got interested in the Japanese language, as well as some other languages, by watching dramas, TV shows, animation and music. After hearing all those sounds I kind of picked up the pronunciations and actually started understanding some phrases without reading subtitles. Of course, I only know some basic things like greetings and names of objects.
I learned about a center that teaches Japanese here in Qatar. It's called Qatar Eastern Language Center (QELC) and there are two instructors that teach Japanese for different levels. I joined for a short period of time and left because I want to at least do some 'self studying' then continuing on step by step.
I purchased this book from the center and I think they sell other merchandise as well. They also had manga which made me really excited :)
The book is really simple & helpful. The size is also great for bags ^^
Ahh, this is what makes every language interesting. The grammar and usage of words in different situations. I don't know why I thought that it was an easy language to learn. Baka (Stupid in Japanese hehe)
I like playing this in my car while driving. I have this sense of fulfillment when knowing what to say without reading what's in the book hahaha
This is my name in Japanese Katakana characters. Pretty neat huh?
Hopefully, I'll become really fluent in Japanese language someday!
This is QELC's facebook page :)
